About Me

STORY

I'm Mohamed Elhabib Mohamed, a Full Stack Web Developer from Sudan. I build web applications, internal systems, and automation tools. I care about reliability, simplicity, and long-term maintainability.

I am self-taught. I started with curiosity and small projects, and over time I learned web development, Linux, scripting, and backend engineering. I enjoy understanding how systems work under the hood — from frontend interfaces to servers, containers, databases, and deployment pipelines.

Most of my daily work is backend engineering with Python (Django, FastAPI) and Linux. In my free time I like low-level programming with Rust and building small tools — including Nit, my own Git clone written in Rust.

PHILOSOPHY

My approach to engineering is practical:

Keep systems simple and maintainable.
Automate repetitive tasks whenever possible.
Build for real needs, not trends.
Learn by building and fixing things.
Favor stability and user experience over cleverness.

WHAT I WORK WITH

Web Development

Python, Django, FastAPI, JavaScript, TypeScript, TailwindCSS

Linux & Development Environment

Linux, Bash, Neovim, Tmux, Docker, Git, rsync, SSH

Automation & Tooling

GitHub Actions, CI/CD, shell scripts, deployment workflows, AI-assisted development

Rust & Low-Level

Rust, CLI tools, Git internals, systems programming, learning by building

CURRENT INTERESTS

AI powered applications
Developer tooling and automation
System design and backend architecture
Low-level programming and Rust
Open source software and Linux ecosystems

LEARNING JOURNEY

I believe strong engineering comes from consistent practice and curiosity. Most of my skills came from building real projects, fixing problems, and learning from experience.

I am currently learning more about:

Backend architecture
AI integrations and agents
Infrastructure and deployment
Rust and systems programming
Software design principles

VOLUNTEERING & COMMUNITY

I enjoy helping others through technical discussions, mentoring, sharing solutions, and contributing ideas to projects and communities when possible.
